Royal Decree 596/2016, of December 2, 2016, for the modernization, improvement and promotion of the use of electronic means in the management of Value Added Tax, deals with a change in the current VAT management system that 30 years running.
The main change of the SII VAT inmediate consists of a new system for presenting the VAT registration books through the Electronic Headquarters of the AEAT, through the almost immediate supply of billing records, which is why it is also known as the Immediate Supply of Information, or SII. In principle, it affects all companies that invoice more than €6M per year.
After our experience in the implementation of the SII in our clients, we can confirm that it is not only a change in the information system, but also in internal processes and responsibilities. Among others, because since there is only a term of max. 4 days between the issuance (invoice date) until the information is sent, many companies must streamline and cut their billing and administration processes.
We have experience both with the solution provided by Microsoft, and improved by Arquiconsult, and with other solutions integrated with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
